Ever since I first saw Chiharu Yakushigawa’s painting works about ten years ago, I have constantly been influenced by her art.
Inspired by her works centered on the theme of "pairs," I compiled the musical pieces I had created over time into two albums consisting of a pair-two albums forming a single whole.
Chiharu Yakushigawa kindly gave me permission to use the specific piece of hers that influenced me the most as the artwork for my albums.
The two albums, " In Paradisum" and "Let me flow, seil me on the silvermoon" represent two aspects of my life. They form a pair and reflect one another.
I want to explore the intrinsic relationship between polyrhythm and polyphony in my life, and now I feel they are appearance of two aspects of the universe.
I dedicate these two albums to Saint Matthew and George Harrison.
And thank you so much, Chiharu Yakushigawa.
