Rhythms in Motion

Rhythms in Motion is an eight track instrumental album by Takuma Horizon created in collaboration with the enigmatic virtual drummer Kamishiro Yukihide

At the heart of the album is a living groove that cannot be explained by tempo alone The kick drum and bass exchange rhythmic ideas subtle shifts in the snare reshape the flow and Takumas guitar moves freely above them with instinct energy and purpose

Rooted in the bold catchy riffs and raw excitement of the early Guitar Odyssey sound the album expands into new territory through tense conversations between drums and bass the sensation of speeding along an open coastline and powerful brass arrangements

The instruments challenge one another respond in real time and gradually merge into a single continuous current

The opening tracks trace the encounter and fusion between Takuma and Kamishiro In the middle of the album guitar drums bass and brass collide with explosive force As the record approaches its final moments the sound opens like a coastal wind leaving behind a pulse that continues after the last note has disappeared
