毎アルバム、異なるコンセプトを掲げ作品を制作しているu-fullの3年ぶりのリリースとなる6thアルバム。
今回はノーコンセプトをコンセプトに、これまでの旅で生まれた様々なタイプの楽曲を収録。
影なる存在への敬意を歌った「Beautiful Crow」やタイトル曲でもある壮大なインストゥルメンタル「Ship's Log II」などの新曲に加え、ライブでの定番曲も今回初のスタジオ版として収録。
様々な顔を持つu-fullの魅力を堪能できる1枚となっている。
ゲストプレイヤーとして、バンド編成ライブを支えるお馴染みのサポートミュージシャン田中良太、奥村景、こまるあかね、菊川望、川瀬麻日香、林愛果の他、ギターに日比谷カタン、ホイッスル・アイリッシュフルートに豊田耕三を迎えている。

u-full（ウフル）アコーディオン＆ボーカルの寺田侑加とギターのフナハシダイチによる音楽ユニット。 民族音楽を取り入れた独自の世界観で、歌ものからインストまで幅広く展開。 大阪を拠点に全国でライブを行い、舞台やゲームへの楽曲提供、多様なアーティストとコラボしながら、独自の音楽世界を広げている。 映像制作も積極的に行い、2018年リリースの「the Sound of the Desert」ではモロッコでの野外録音・Music Video撮影を行い、「太陽と砂の踊り子」のMusic Videoは横濱インディペンデント・フィルム・フェスティバル2018にて、音楽部門 最優秀賞を受賞した。 2023年からはカバー動画シリーズを制作し、国内外で好評を得ている。
