毎アルバム、異なるコンセプトを掲げ作品を制作しているu-fullの3年ぶりのリリースとなる6thアルバム。
今回はノーコンセプトをコンセプトに、これまでの旅で生まれた様々なタイプの楽曲を収録。
影なる存在への敬意を歌った「Beautiful Crow」やタイトル曲でもある壮大なインストゥルメンタル「Ship's Log II」などの新曲に加え、ライブでの定番曲も今回初のスタジオ版として収録。
様々な顔を持つu-fullの魅力を堪能できる1枚となっている。
ゲストプレイヤーとして、バンド編成ライブを支えるお馴染みのサポートミュージシャン田中良太、奥村景、こまるあかね、菊川望、川瀬麻日香、林愛果の他、ギターに日比谷カタン、ホイッスル・アイリッシュフルートに豊田耕三を迎えている。

世界の様々な民族音楽・伝統音楽より影響を受け、旅をする音楽をコンセプトに音で地図を描く― アコーディオン＆ボーカル・寺田侑加（yuka）と、ギター・フナハシダイチによる音楽ユニット。 2004年より活動を開始し、2013年よりyukaのソロプロジェクト期を経て、2018年にソロプロジェクト期にサポートとして参加していたフナハシダイチが正式加入し現在の編成に至る。 自由な発想から生まれた楽曲は、歌ものからインストゥルメンタルまで幅広く展開し、民族音楽を始めとした様々なジャンルを取り込んでu-fullの世界観を表現している。
