there comes a quiet moment of realization:
you thought you had been alone all along,
yet somehow, you were already walking in the same direction as someone else.

before conclusions are reached.
Feelings that could not be put into words.
Answers that could not be given.
Nights spent simply standing beside someone,
leaving words there without explanation.
Even so, the connection continuedquietly, steadily.
What this piece portrays is a relationship
that is neither control nor dependence.
It is a choice to walk while looking at the same landscape,
without pulling, without lifting one another up.
There is no need to be complete.
There is no need to walk at the same pace.
Even moments when steps fall out of sync
will eventually become a single rhythm.
