Das Dritte Projekt is the interpretive duo formed by Ryo Murakami and Ken Sumitani, further developing the contemporary and experimental work that Depth Of Decay is known for. In these four evocative explorations of drone and feedback, Sumitani's delicate guitar coloring sings through the dense, portentous textures conjured by Murakami, produced through a mixture of synthesized and organic means. What sounds austere in theory becomes totally immersive in practice.
