Toki
Music producer / Track maker / DJ born in Kobe and raised in Shanghai, China. He has been involved in a wide range of music from songwriting, arranging, remixing, theatrical accompaniment music, and sound design. After living in the U.S. for about 5 years, he worked as a DJ, recording engineer, and beat producer in the hip-hop scene in New York and San Francisco, as well as in film music in San Francisco. He started his career as Toki by releasing music featuring local and international artists. He defines his own musical concept as "DYSTOPIAN BASS" (decadent world view electronic music), and creates electro music with theatrical and dark development in the bass music. In his live performances, he plays mainly in the club scene, and his live sets are full of rave moods such as dubstep and trap, and his DJ is emotional and rocking. He sometimes plays beautiful but somewhat fragile house music, and his DJ style is diverse. He has been providing music for the official remix of Kumi Koda's music for three consecutive years, for the electric sound department of BANDAI NAMCO-produced contents, and for the NISSAN DESIGN CHINA advertisement video.
