KUNGFUCHOP a.k.a. DJ $huz - active both in Japan and internationally - presents his first mini album, featuring a collection of his early works!
He contributed tracks under the name Kowloon to Libyus Music's masterpiece compilation "Listening Is Believing,"which also featured artists such as Nujabes, Olive Oil, and Dev Large. In addition to releases from his own label Raw Material, his DJ mix "Mellow Madness Vol.1," released by the London-based UK mix CD label SoulCool, reached No.1 on the FUNK CHART worldwide.
Now, a masterpiece overflowing with love for SOUL, FUNK, RARE GROOVE, and HIP-HOP is born here!!

    Kungfuchop started music activities in group in early 90's. He shifted to do solo works in late 90's. Also he was resident DJ of the regular party "linkage" at Aoyama blue. Started record label "Raw material" in 2003 and released two compilations, one vinyl. Kungfuchop returns with a new track "Chill Backpackers" after 10 years of absence. The song is worth plenty of Raid back, blending soulful guitars and chilled-out and tricky beat. The song also samples the track of Rare Groove. Kungfuchop is infulenced by James Brown, Michael Jackson, Roy Ayers, DJ Premier, Pete Rock, Large Professor ,Kenny dope, Moodymann. His music tracks were used in the following media.
