Yggdrasil - When What We Believe Becomes Myth
What we believe in today, what we pass down through words and stories-
perhaps, in another era, these would have been called myths.
Yggdrasil, the World Tree,
extends its leaves, branches, and roots across the world,
connecting all phenomena and all living beings.
Through Yggdrasil, everything is intertwined.
It is through this connection that we come to recognize existence itself.
Within the vastness of nature,
we find the quiet certainty that we, too, are a part of it.
And perhaps myth is nothing more than the memory of that connection-
between nature and humanity.
Artist Profile
BabyFaith
Formed in Tokyo in 2020, the band began activities with its current lineup in 2024. They pioneered a new genre called "Art Emo," combining an intense sound and melodic high-pitched vocals influenced by emo, post-hardcore, and metal with the artistic and experimental elements of art rock. They are also well-known for their live performances, which exude a dramatic and grandiose worldview, and are often described as being like "watching a movie."
