    3 piece instrumental math rock band "loqto" from Tokyo, Japan. In an era where instrumental math rock is no longer a rarity, this band has carved out a uniquely incomparable sound of their own within the scene. With a solid groove that only a three-piece can deliver, their music is characterized by intricate time signature changes and polyrhythms backed by exceptional technical skill. Yet, they never let technique overshadow musicality prioritizing memorable, catchy riffs and melodies that evoke a sense of "song" even without vocals. Thanks to their meticulously crafted compositions, they stand out as a leading force among the many math rock bands vying for attention. Their full-length albums, geo-(2018) and hifumi (2019), were both featured on Spotify's Japanese Math Rock playlist, and have steadily climbed into the Top 100 of instrumental charts in various countries. In 2024, they return with their first release in five years: the second EP Reassemble, scheduled for digital release on Saturday, June 29, 2024. The release tour kicks off with a debut show in Bangkok, Thailand, followed by performances in Japan-including a special set alongside the iconic U.S. math rock band, INVALIDS, during their Japan tour.
