Return to Life
Return to Life Formed in 2024 in Tokyo by keyboardist Shoji Takahashi, following the breakup of its predecessor band Jinsei Sosouha, which had been founded by members of Tokyo College of Music in 2022. Drawing inspiration from the unique sounds and cultural backdrop of the 80s and 90s, ranging from Japanese and Western pop, rock, and soul to kayokyoku, the band creates and performs music that reimagines those influences as contemporary city pop for today.
