MONOCRYSTA is an artist project created by a Japanese hairstylist who brings his own unique world to life through music, visuals, and design. Rooted in rock, MONOCRYSTA blends melancholic melodies with mystical, ethereal, and cinematic soundscapes, exploring emotions such as loneliness, hope, light, and darkness. Inspired by contrasts such as black and white, light and shadow, and reality and fantasy, MONOCRYSTA creates music beyond the boundaries of genre. As a hairstylist, he designs what can be seen. Through MONOCRYSTA, he designs the emotions and worlds that cannot be seen.
