There’s dirt beneath the skin of everyone I know

Even blood turns cold when survival takes control

I watched my family speak with sharpened tongues

Trading love for power just to feel enough

Every promise bent beneath convenience

Every “I love you” came with conditions

The world keeps teaching us to close our hands

To take before somebody else can

Maybe we were born inside the sickness

Maybe kindness only exists in fragments

If everybody bleeds for themselves

Then why do I still want to help?

This world is beautiful filth

A paradise covered in ash

People destroy what they touch

Then cry when it never comes back

So I protect the few I love

Like shelter in the middle of the flood

If humanity only worships itself

I saw strangers step over broken souls

Like suffering was ordinary decoration

Everybody screaming “save me first”
