Yokohama's alternative melodic punk band "MORETHAN" will release their first new album since 2017, "AFTERALL", in November 2024.

This album was recorded for release in 2020, but was shelved due to the suspension of activities caused by the spread of COVID-19.

Starting in January 2024, "Mase of the World x MORETHAN" re-teamed to produce the songs for "AFTERALL - 2024" and record all 13 songs, including retakes.

It is an emotional melodic punk work that is full of MORETHAN's unique style.

On November 16, 2024, a record release event will be held at B.B.STREET in Kannai, Yokohama. They plan to hold a two-man show with "ANORAK!", who are making waves on their Asian and US tours.

    While being influenced by melodic punk, emo, hardcore, etc., they are also heavily influenced by ASPARAGUS, a band from their hometown, and the members of ASPARAGUS also give their stamp of approval to the songs and live act of "MORETHAN". The melodies are catchy, but they are different from what is commonly called "melodic". They skillfully use husky and clean voices, and successfully combine the best of overseas and Japanese melodies. In addition, the tight and sometimes technical drums, solid and tight bass lines, technical guitar riffs reminiscent of post-rock and math rock, and the chorus parts that make you want to sing along are also part of the appeal.
