これまで数々のソロ作品をリリースしてきたWAWAが、今回３枚目のE.Pを投下。長いキャリアを持つ彼が、様々な景色・人・現実を目の当たりにした上で、この先に残していきたいものの答えをこの作品に落とし込んでいる。自分自身の存在意義や、貫き通す重要性を「PROOF」というタイトルで表現し、楽曲でも全面的に押し出している。FeaturingにJASS・TEITOを起用。ビートメーカーはBERABOW・NARISK・Thieves productionと、実力派達による豪華な楽曲製作となった。彼の行き詰まったリアルなマインドや、言葉のチョイスなどに注目していただきたい、そんな作品となっている。

Artist Profile

  • WAWA

    A rapper from DCA, a prominent hip-hop crew representing Kyoto. While exploring various styles, he met peers from his generation and went on to form DCA. Unusually for the Kansai street scene, he openly declares that he does not consume alcohol or THC. With a distinctive sensibility that allows him to transform both unique and serious topics into "non-uniform" tracks, he has established a strong presence in the scene. In 2015, the crew released their first mixtape, MELTTOWN, followed by MELTTOWN 2 in 2016. In 2018, they released their first EP titled YATSULER. That same year, he released his first solo project, OWN WORST ENEMY. He has continued his solo career since then, consistently putting out numerous EPs and singles.
