Formed in 2023, the folk band Kekko Seikatsu releases their first full-length album, monju. The album features sound engineering by the emerging composer MON/KU, with original artwork illustrated by Shishi Yamazaki.

Drawing on folk, Japanese kayōkyoku, and traditional music, the band uses twin lead vocals and rich three-part harmonies to capture the subtle emotional shifts and quiet, prayer-like sentiments that emerge in everyday life.

All nine tracks were recorded in the summer of 2025 at a band member's home in Tochigi Prefecture. The album was entirely self-produced and independently recorded.
