EBK Freestyle

EBK Freestyle is a collaboration between NTF Ewan, from Misawa, Aomori, and TAYTAY POSSE, from Chofu, Tokyo. Both artists have been gaining attention through their audition videos for Rapstar, and this freestyle track was born out of a spontaneous studio session at East Bro Studio.

Produced by Pill Witch, a close collaborator of both artists, the track rides on an eerie yet energetic Stockton Drill beat. NTF Ewan delivers a tight, punchy flow that locks into the beat, while TAYTAY POSSE brings an off-kilter, slightly off-beat style. Their contrasting flows trade off every four bars, creating a dynamic back-and-forth that drives the track forward.

The track came together after NTF Ewan listened to TAYTAY POSSE's album and was inspired to reach out. Ewan contacted TAYTAY that afternoon, and since TAYTAY already had a studio session planned that night, they met up and started recording. With no specific theme in mind, they simply played around with the beat, kept things loose, and finished the track that same night.
