Artist Profile

  • zippy ZIPPER

In 2008, siblings Nori (vocalist and guitarist) and Keisuke (bassist) formed Zippy Zipper. They are active mainly in Hiroshima City. They released their self-produced CD-Rs "melodys" and "Retrieval of new orld" exclusively at live venues. On October 20, 2010, they released their first EP "Form" (first distributed recording). In April 2011, they released the single "More Love Than Both Hands." In March 2011, they appeared on the live circuit "MUSIC CUBE11." They produced their second EP "The Law of Projection," which was released in November 2012. They held a solo concert as the final show of their release tour, drawing 220 people. They also appeared at "MUSIC CUBE13" for the second time in March 2013. The third EP "Shodo Egotism" was released in May 2013 (the song "NAMELESS WORLD" was the ending song for Hiroshima TV's "Sports Genkimaru" from April 2013 to March 2014). The band held a release tour and a solo concert at Hiroshima CLUB QUATTRO. They released monthly singles from November 2013 to January 2014. In March 2014, they appeared at "MUSIC CUBE14" for the third time. They moved their base of operations from Hiroshima to Yokohama. In 2025, they will return to Hiroshima. Their approach can be seen as pop, guitar rock, and emotional rock, and powerfully expresses the worldview of Zippy Zipper with a strong beat at the forefront. They are still active today, having undergone numerous member changes.
