2022年12月9日にリリースされたWAWA&JAYLOX 1st E.P『SIX』から早くも2nd E.P『WJ』が2023年3月1日リリース決定。今回の作品は、前回の作品のテーマである"人間の6つの感情"のような、幅広いテーマではなく、WAWA&JAYLOXの共通の気持ち、好きな物、STYLEを落とし込んだ全5曲となっている。前作と同様、ビートメーカーにはBERABOW・Thieves productionを迎え、一曲に対するグルーヴ、完成度の高さにも注目していただきたい。

Artist Profile

  • WAWA

    A rapper from DCA, a prominent hip-hop crew representing Kyoto. While exploring various styles, he met peers from his generation and went on to form DCA. Unusually for the Kansai street scene, he openly declares that he does not consume alcohol or THC. With a distinctive sensibility that allows him to transform both unique and serious topics into "non-uniform" tracks, he has established a strong presence in the scene. In 2015, the crew released their first mixtape, MELTTOWN, followed by MELTTOWN 2 in 2016. In 2018, they released their first EP titled YATSULER. That same year, he released his first solo project, OWN WORST ENEMY. He has continued his solo career since then, consistently putting out numerous EPs and singles.
