Kaleidoscope

'Kaleidoscope' is a work deeply inspired by the LA beat scene, showcasing the further refinement of Daiki Kagata's unique style. It features a fusion of psychedelic elements, J Dilla-like off-kilter grooves, and richly textured synthesizer tones, all wrapped in a cold and unsettling mood. The album also exhibits an intelligent and delicate craftsmanship, with serpentine basslines weaving through the spaces in the beats, and synthesizer tones panning dynamically to stir both the mind and body of the listener.

A subtle touch of funkiness lends a distinctive rhythm and groove to the entire project. The title "Kaleidoscope" symbolizes a mesmerizing, ever-changing transformation, inviting listeners into a vividly crafted sonic world. To elevate the sound quality to perfection, Daiki collaborated with long-time ally Yuke Myras (from Cosmicbath) for mastering.
