"tasogare"

Inspired by Tasogare, a series from Hobonichi.

I was deeply moved by the warmth and gentle sense of comfort in the conversations of three friends who could speak about the end of life while still laughing together.

This piece was created with a sense of wonder for the simple cycle of coming into being and fading away, and for the quiet beauty and small glimmers found in everyday life.

A chamber music, inspired piece featuring piano, strings, and wind instruments.
