    TSUNEI(ツネイ) 新潟県南魚沼市出身、1988年1月26日生まれ。 大好きだった亡き祖父の名前「つねいち」がその名の由来。ハタチの時に12歳の自分から届いた「歌手になっていますか？」という手紙に後押しされ歌手活動を開始。全国各地でのライブを精力的に行うとともに、CMソングやテーマソングなどの楽曲制作を数多く手掛けている。 2020年2月にはOvallのShingo Suzukiが全曲アレンジをしたアルバム『Into』をリリース。さらに2022年11月、自身初のフィーチャリングアーティストを迎えた楽曲『夜空に描いた物語 feat.Salyu』を配信リリース。 また、『Into』以降はジャケットデザイン、フライヤーデザイン、MVのディレクション・編集まで行う。 近年では学生向けに、自身の体験をもとにした“いじめ”や“夢”に関する講演をライブとあわせて実施するなど、活動は多岐に渡る。
