Inspired by the world of Wong Kar-Wai's "In the Mood for Love," the song evokes a fantastical, oriental atmosphere. The contrasting male and female vocals vividly depict a fugue from reality to illusion.
Canadian musician SOMBRA, who is a listner of samayuzame's work , contacted her, and a collaboration was born.
samayuzame wrote the lyrics, composed the music, and produced the song, while SOMBRA arranged the music.
The cover, featuring a red goldfish, was designed by illustrator furu2. Ryoma Nakamura was in charge of mixing and mastering.

samayuzame is an artist, producer and songwriter based in Tokyo, Japan. She has built a career around her DIY approach to music, seeing all her audio and visual works through from beginning to end. Her fragility and strength as a woman living in the present age, violent yet beautiful wordplay, and visceral sound invite listeners into a melancholic and bewitching world.

SOMBRA is the pseudonym of the split Montreal & Tokyo based producer/songwriter, Matthew Cataldo. With influences ranging from 90s alternative grunge and industrial to underground house, techno and trip-hop, SOMBRAs music is introspective and claustrophobic, yet paradoxically colourful and chameleonic.
