大人気「小編成レパートリー・コレクション」シリーズ第4弾!
今回はオリジナル曲の新譜を中心とした全9曲。コンクールだけではなく、演奏会など様々な場面で使える曲を収録。タイトル通り「恋する蝶」の生き様を描いたタイトル曲、井澗昌樹作曲「恋す蝶」は日本吹奏楽界に一石を投じる意欲作。

コンクールにお勧めなのが広瀬勇人作曲「レパントの海戦」。最小16人で演奏できるこの曲はオプションパートが多くバンドにあわせて編成を作りやすい実用的な曲であるうえに、曲自体も非常にドラマチックな作品。また秀逸な編曲で小編成とは思えない「深み」を感じさせてくれる小野寺真編曲「喜びの島」も必聴です。

その他、後藤洋、福島弘和、八木澤教司、坂井貴祐、西邑由記子といった豪華邦人作曲家陣によるこの小編成作品集はVol.1~3と同様、全曲楽譜とタイアップ。コンクール・演奏会での選曲に向けて今後必携の1枚です。シリーズ前3作とご一緒にご活用ください。

  • Philharmonic Winds OSAKAN

    The Osakan Philharmonic Winds was formed in 1999, and became the first non-profit band in 2006, with its home base in JUBEL Hall, Osaka. The ensemble features Yoshihiro Kimura as Honorary Music Director, Tomo Matsuo as Resident Conductor, Jan Van der Roost as Principal Guest Conductor, and Koji Orita as Music Advisor. The OSAKAN annually gives approximately 40 recitals and concerts of varied instrumentation, from full band to chamber ensembles. They often perform in the beautiful IZUMI Concert Hall, welcoming eminent professional musicians such as Joseph Alessi (New York Philharmonic Principal Trombone), Ricardo Morales (Philadelphia Orchestra Principal Clarinet), David Griffin (Chicago Symphony Orchestra Horn), Corrado Giuffredi (Orchesta della Svizzera Italiana Principal Clarinet), and Christopher Martin (New York Philharmonic Principal Trumpet). The Osakan Philharmonic Winds has released more than 60 CDs, earning rave reviews in a variety of media. In 2009, the band traveled to Cincinnati to represent Asia in the14th World Association for Symphonic Bands and Ensembles Conference. In 2018, they were invited to perform for the 49th Japan Band Clinic's final concert. In 2019, they are honored to give the finale performance of the 73rd Midwest Clinic in Chicago, Illinois, acclaimed so that "the best performance ever." Receiving accolades from the international band world, the Osakan Philharmonic Winds proudly celebrated their 20th Anniversary in 2019.
