"Noise Cancelling" is a Japanese electronic pop track about breathing shallow in a world that never stops making noise: the read receipts that keep piling up, the meaning that keeps draining away, drowning quietly in a sea of likes.

One switch on the headphones and everything goes silent - the city, the future, all of it. It was supposed to work. But in that perfect silence, one sound rings louder than anything: your voice, your "see you later," refusing to disappear.

In the end, the protagonist takes the noise cancelling off - choosing to carry the whole noisy world again, static and all, just to hear that one voice.
