nakayaan & cheever

The debut EP from a bass-and-saxophone duo formed by nakayaan (mitsume, SAMOEDO) and Asato Chiba (Shippaishinai Ikikata). Defying expectations of its unconventional instrumentation, the group crafts a sound that is strange, feral, and thrilling. Blending improvisational spontaneity with tightly woven ensemble interplay, the music absorbs elements of post-punk, free jazz, and noise to forge a singular sonic world of its own. A striking debut that captures the tension and kinetic energy generated by this singular and unconventional musical dialogue.
