Bus Stop

Kenta Dedachi

Why do I mess it up

In the heat of the moment

Thinking ‘bout my regrets

When you’re kissing my lips

What if I

Led us wrong

And make us ride

A bus to an instant heartbreak destination?

What if you realize

You never wanna come back home to me?

I’m scared of falling in love

Giving my all for another lost cause

Like maybe I should let go

Get on that bus and never look back

I’m scared of falling in love

Maybe this time it’s gonna be different

Standing at the bus stop

Remember when we got lost

In the ghost house at the carnival

Both scared of the dark

So we held on to each other

Yeah, I know, the two of us

We don’t have

A clue ‘bout where the future might be heading

But I know that we belong

And I’d be lost without you in my life

I’m scared of falling in love

Giving my all for another lost cause

Like maybe I should let go

Get on that bus and never look back

I’m scared of falling in love

Maybe this time it’s gonna be different

I'm standing at the bus stop

I’m scared of falling in love

Giving my all for another lost cause

Like maybe I should let go

Get on that bus and never look back

I’m scared of falling in love

Maybe this time it’s gonna be different

I'm standing at the bus stop

The sun’s already setting in

And my feet froze up, I can’t decide

But you’re still standing next to me

It’s now or never

I’m scared of falling in love

Giving my all for another lost cause

Like maybe I should let go

Get on that bus and never look back

I’m scared of losing this love

Maybe this time it’s gonna be different

I’m standing at the bus

I’m not scared of falling in love

Giving my all, for you and I

Baby time to let go

Get on that bus and never look back

Not scared of falling in love

Tell me this time is gonna be different

    Bus Stop

    Kenta Dedachi

Have you ever been in love with someone, but found yourself unable to fully commit because of painful memories from a past relationship?
This song is about that moment of hesitation. You are given the chance to move forward with someone new, but you are still haunted by what is behind you.

The bus stop represents that pivotal moment of decision.
Throughout the song, the person is weighing whether or not to get on the bus, to take the risk, to start something new. If they choose to get on, there is no turning back.
