Artist Profile

  • Ah

Gifu City lacks a distinct music scene. In this environment, three drifters came together, absorbing a variety of experiences to form an instrumental band. Each member brought their own musical background, crafting a sound that is minimal yet refined. Their music does not merely aim to be eccentric but seeks to express sounds that resonate with listeners and the spaces they inhabit. It is characterized by distinctive, floating guitar riffs and a heavy yet catchy sound. Influenced by a wide range of music from (post) punk, indie, and hardcore to dub, hiphop, and blues the sound of Ah originates from the streets of Gifu City, a regional town, while evoking the experimental tones of the American East Coast.
