東京からニューヨークに拠点を移し、新たな挑戦を始めたcréA jenevaの新曲。作詞作曲からアートワークまで全て自ら手がける彼女が、美術大学に通う中で部屋から見えたエンパイア・ステート・ビルディングの景色をテーマにしている。毎日寝不足でも、自分のやるべきことを全うし、いつか自分の夢や目標が叶うと信じて頑張り続けた場所からの景色であり、未来に向かって突き進む思いが込められた一曲だ。過去作に比べてエレクトロ要素が強く、サビのドラマティックなピアノにも注目してほしい。

créA jeneva
イギリス生まれ、東京出身のアーティスト。 作詞作曲からアートワークまで全て自身で手がけており、デザイン領域でも活動している。早稲田大学を卒業し、ニューヨークのファッション工科大学でグラフィックデザインを学ぶ。 早稲田大学在学中から独学で作曲を始め、その後本格的にsongwritingを勉強。 日常で感じたことや、常識・社会への疑問をテーマに バラードからelectronic pop、r&bなど幅広くオリジナル曲を作っている。 幼少期より習っていたクラシックピアノの影響を受け、リフレインメロディの創作を得意とする。 初リリース曲ではショパンの作品をサンプリングした。 自身の数カ国での生活や多文化に触れる中で語学ごとの発音・表記の違いにも楽しみを感じ、言語学や日本語教育(日本語教育能力検定資格保持)の勉強もしていたことから、歌詞は音の質感を重視している。 また、アメリカへ交換留学時にはアクティングのクラスを受講し、演技など表現を学んだ経験を持つ。
