The wingless dragon slept in chains where living thunder could not breathe

Its oath was buried under stone yet still the black mountains shook

When one forsaken heir climbed through rain to wake the storm within my soul

I grasped the spear of fallen skies and felt the tempest rise

The dragon opened ember eyes though broken were its royal wings

It breathed its name into my blood and thunder answered back

Together we became the vow no god could ever bind again

No crown above can claim the sky when mortal hearts ignite and rise

The skyward temple shone with spears of cold celestial law and light

Its angels laughed at wounded scales and called our rage a sin
