    Travellin' Turtle is a solo music project by okazy (g, vo), launched in 2023. While centered on okazy as the primary songwriter and performer, the project occasionally expands into a flexible band formation for live performances, mainly at live houses in Tokyo. The sound is rooted in alternative folk, where the dry, raw feel of garage textures synchronizes with chaotic urban landscapes. Heavy bass and drums form a thick, grounded foundation, while effect driven acoustic guitar and spacious keyboard layers overlap. Together, they create a melancholic, three dimensional soundscape colored by ambiguous light and shadow.
