To those of you who broke somewhere along the way to becoming adults.
This album is dedicated to the young people of the 21st century who slowly fell apart in the process of growing up.
At the same time, it is a work created to mourn and lay to rest the teenage self of 6LUE.
We were not born broken.
We were not sick from the beginning.
But somewhere along the way, many of us were crushed
by our surroundings, by loneliness, and by the weight of the world we were thrown into.
This album is a quiet record of paying respects to the things that were lost in that process.
And at the same time, it is music for those of us who are still here, still living.
6LUE is a 21-year-old rapper and songwriter born in 2004. Heavily influenced by LIL PEEP, he channels emotional, pain-driven sounds as his core form of expression. He has lived with bipolar disorder since the age of 14, and survived a suicide attempt in the summer of his 18th year. That experience became the turning point that led him to fully commit to making music. Depression, loneliness, emptiness, self-hatred 6LUE screams the darkness that has built up deep inside his mind through raw lyrics and melodies. His music is the sound of struggling to exist in a world that feels impossible to live in.
