This spring, the newly formed punk band Namplas finally released their memorable first EP "UMAMI"!The band is led by vocalist Shinya Morishita, who is also active as a model, bassist Go Sakaguchi who performed in FUJI ROCK Festival, and composer StrongWatari, who has won the 8-bar track award twice in the past.

Namplas
An alternative rock band formed in 2024. They made their debut with their first EP "UMAMI," proudly securing the number one spot on the Punk Top Album charts in both Japan and Turkey. The band is attracting attention by also ranking in other Asian countries such as Hong Kong and Taiwan. Led by vocalist Shinya Morishita, who is also active as a model, the band includes GO on bass, who has experience performing at the FUJI ROCK Festival, and composer Strong Wataru, who boasts two past Track Award wins. Their latest release, "mizuiro supernova," leans towards a shoegaze sound while featuring catchy melody lines, resulting in a pop and refreshing finish.
