    Formed in 2021, Tokyo's Fried Banana Shop (Yoji on Sax, Tomo on Gt., Ryuju on Dr.) delivers a refined DIY sound blending Jazz, R&B, and Rock. Drawing inspiration from BADBADNOTGOOD and Men I Trust, the band self-produces their entire catalog from writing to recording esulting in a warm, indie-alternative world built on a bedroom music foundation. Their fluid approach extends to collaborations with vocalists and rappers, as well as dynamic DJ Set performances in the club circuit. With the release of their 2025 EP Meditation, Fried Banana Shop has become a mainstay on Spotify's top playlists like "New Music Wednesday" and "Edge!", marking them as one of the most exciting cross-genre acts emerging from Tokyo today.
