More than two decades into her career as a singer, Ann Sally has cultivated a distinctive musical identity through years of performing. Bringing together musicians she has worked with throughout her 20-year career as an artist, this landmark album is infused with the experiences and emotions that have shaped her music. True to her genre-defying and unique presence, the album brings together a diverse range of musical voices.

Created over six months in 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic, the album was produced through a combination of studio sessions and remote recordings from Los Angeles, New Orleans, and regional cities across Japan. With 10 of its 13 tracks being original compositions, it stands as a significant work in her career.

    Since debuting as a singer in 2001, Ann Sally has continued to perform alongside her work as a physician, appearing at concert halls, music festivals, Blue Note, and Billboard Live venues across Japan. She has released numerous albums and contributed to film and commercial music. In 2025, she appeared on stage in Lyon and Paris as a featured vocalist, and in August 2026, she performed at JAM JAM ASIA, an international music festival in Taipei, Taiwan, continuing to captivate audiences in Japan and abroad. Her songs blend observations from everyday life with her mellow, rich voice, resonating with listeners in Japan and around the world.
