Live in Amami 2025 is my first live EP, recorded at my hometown event Koyo's Festival on Amami Oshima, Japan.

In front of an audience of more than 80 passionate listeners, I performed some of my most popular live songs.

The EP features three tracks: Koyo's Breakdown, Runnin' Man, and YOKAZE,a song inspired by my home island of Amami.

This release captures the raw presence and real energy of live performance, offering a different experience from studio recordings.

Amami is where my musical journey began.

With this release as the starting point, I will continue to share the live atmosphere and energy of my performances with listeners around the world.

Artist Profile

  • Koyo Morita

    Koyo Morita is a country guitarist from Japan.Born in 1992. At the age of seven, he was inspired by his older brother to become immersed in the world of guitar. He went to university to become a mathematics teacher, but he couldn't give up music, so after graduation he started his musical career despite everyone's objections. Since that day, he has taught and performed guitar and written for major publishing companies. In 2021, he will win the Japanese Grand Prix at the Fender-sponsored contest "Player Plus Studio Sessions." The total number of followers on SNS exceeds 50,000. After these steps, his project began in 2024. He is passionate about bringing his own music to the world in Japan.
