He first participated in "HONEY meets ISLAND CAFE" with "Yururirara" released in April 2022. This is the second surf soul album by singer Ruto Kasahara, whose outstanding soul-style vocals and melody and flow like a tumbling wave were a big hit, and both the subs and the analog version were much talked about!
The song "Saki E"(Ahead) is an R&B-style lyric about wanting to go one's own way unwaveringly, yet freely like a wave. The rhythm, like the waves that come and go, is a superb summer track that is both comforting and strong. This is a song that you should listen to during the time when you want to feel chill, and also as a song to replenish your energy.
Ruto Kasahara's 4-track EP "Walking Man," fully produced by Grooveman Spot, is also a hot topic. I have a feeling it won't be long before he becomes known from Hokkaido to the rest of the world.
