Since resuming his activities as a HIPHOP writer in 2020, PAPA-KIMG has released three volumes of the SoundSourcePool series - select albums compiling tracks carefully chosen through his own unique musical perspective and deep appreciation for the culture.
His latest endeavor is the Pass The Beat Project, a project where he "passes" DIGG'd beats to rappers, transforming raw instrumentals into fully realized songs.
For the sixth installment of the series, the project brings together Saitama-based rappers BG and KUHLONG SHIT with beatmaker jpdoll, who is based in the San'in region of Japan and known for a wide-ranging style that spans from soulful sampling to programmed production. The result is a powerful chemical reaction born from the beat being passed into new hands.
A beat gets passed.
An artist breathes life into it.
And a song is born.
Pass The Beat Project is still evolving - even at this very moment.

    2005年頃からHIPHOPフリーペーパー「最前HIPHOP」でライターとしてのキャリアをスタートさせる。山のように届くデモCDを汲まなくチェックし、気になる曲を4～5曲レビューしていくというスタイルで数年間活動を続ける。その後一定の活動休止期間を経て、 2020年頃からSNSを使用しレビューを書く事に大きな可能性を感じ、X(旧Twitter)とInstagramでHIPHOPライターとしての活動を再開。月間約15本前後レビューを投稿中。 ライター活動を開始した当時から「SoundSourcePool」（音源の貯蔵庫）の館長と名乗り、アンダーグラウンドシーンの音源収集には一切の妥協なく日々没頭している。 個人の動きと並行して2023年からHIPHOPウェブサイト「SLUM HOODSTAR」のライターとしての活動も開始する。 また最近では自身の審美眼でセレクトした曲で作られたアルバム「SoundSourcePool」シリーズのリリースや、自らDIGGしたビートをラッパーにPassして曲をリリースするプロジェクト「Pass The Beat Ploject」も進行中
