Sara Smile (Cover)

"Sara Smile" was released as the 3rd single from Hall & Oates's album "Daryl Hall & John Oates" in 1975. The song was their first top 10 hit in the US, reaching #4 on the Billboard Hot 100. Kent Nishimura used to play their other big hit song "Private Eyes" for his 2nd solo album "Kent Nishimura 2" in 2017 at 14. But "Sara Smile" is a ballad song that tastes different from "Private Eyes". He tries to express Daryl's vocal singing which changes endlessly with his original arrangement for one fingerstyle guitar and it's succeeded very well. It's a great idea that the beginning of backing harmony was done with harmonics of multiple strings. We have to admit again that Kent is a great fingerstyle guitarist and a wonderful arranger.
