“epilogue” refers to the section that comes after the end of a story. In Japanese, it can be described as an afterword or closing message.
But for me—
One day, after I am gone from this world,
the lives of those who continue forward with this work
will become my true epilogue.
Even if death were to come sooner than expected,
I wanted to leave these pieces of music behind—
like an extension of my life,
like a personal testament—
preserved so that anyone can continue to see and hear them.
Through guitar instrumentals—my greatest form of self-expression as a guitarist—
I wanted to tell the story of my life.
With that intention, I set out to create this work.
Reflecting once more on life and death—
something every person must eventually face—
and looking back on my own journey,
I expressed in sound both the vastness and fragility of life,
along with the love I have received from so many people.
This project was created entirely under my own direction and decisions—
a fully independent production.
In other words, it is a part of my soul.
Even after I take my final journey,
I hope this work will continue to walk alongside your lives.
I leave these sounds here
as my epilogue—
my closing words in music.
