PURIFY

This is the first EP by Sosuke Ogino, a pianist in Kyoto, Japan. The recording was done in NABOWA violinist Hiraku Yamamoto's private studio. The sound of the carefully tuned prepared piano was recorded with attention paid to the subtle noise and environmental sounds it produces, and the result is a sound that will gently accompany your tired heart. I urge you to close your eyes and listen to it. The entire piece is a solo piano piece with a post-classical tone, but "Melancholy," on which he played the flute, and "Amber," in which hiraku yamamoto played the violin, add color to this PULIFY album.
