This is the first album by the new unit "Calmonica form Calmera" consisting of Legendary Goushi Nishizaki and Atsushi Miyamoto, founding members of the inactive entertainment jazz band "Calmera".
The two, who are also the main writers of Calmera's music, have taken over Calmera's musicality and intention, while pursuing new musical expressions and possibilities, for a total of 11 instrumental numbers.
Calmonica from Calmera is a group whose theme is "to be the soundtrack of someone's life.
The genre-less songs such as JAZZ SAMBA with melancholy melodies, intense and hot JAZZ ROCK, happy and funky numbers, energetic rock tunes, SKA, Reggae, etc., will accompany you in every scene of the story called "your life", just like a soundtrack of a "movie". It is like a soundtrack of a "movie".

Calmonica from Calmera
エンタメジャズバンド「Calmera(カルメラ)」の創設メンバーである西崎ゴウシ伝説と宮本敦によるユニット。 Calmera(カルメラ)は 2023 年 5 月で 17 年間に及ぶライブ活動を無期限に休止したが、Calmera(カルメラ)の楽曲のメインライターであり創立メンバーであるリーダーの西崎ゴウシ伝説(agitator,trumpet,guitar,percussion,synth)と宮本敦(Guitar)の二人で、新ユニット「カルモニカ from Calmera」を始動。Calmera(カルメラ)の音楽性と意思を引き継ぎつつ、新たな音楽表現や可能性を追求する。
