Calmonica from Calmera" is the long-awaited third album by Goushi Nishizaki and Atsushi Miyamoto, founding members of the jazz band Calmera, which is currently on hiatus.
Following the previous album SKAmonica, which was tied to SKA, this is a concept album with FUNKY as its theme!
The pair of them have been creating happy and danceable Jazz music, and now they have gathered their most exciting and FUNKY sound here.

    エンタメジャズバンド「Calmera(カルメラ)」の創設メンバーである西崎ゴウシ伝説と宮本敦によるユニット。 Calmera(カルメラ)は 2023 年 5 月で 17 年間に及ぶライブ活動を無期限に休止したが、Calmera(カルメラ)の楽曲のメインライターであり創立メンバーであるリーダーの西崎ゴウシ伝説(agitator,trumpet,guitar,percussion,synth)と宮本敦(Guitar)の二人で、新ユニット「カルモニカ from Calmera」を始動。Calmera(カルメラ)の音楽性と意思を引き継ぎつつ、新たな音楽表現や可能性を追求する。
