Following her 30th anniversary release "GLAMOROUS (feat. michico)" in February 2026, Harumi Tsuyuzaki presents her second digital single, "Unsaid," created in collaboration with producer Nao'ymt.
Having worked together for nearly two decades since their first meeting in 2006, the two artists arrive here at a new point of expression. Built on contemporary R&B while moving fluidly between synthwave, city pop, and 80's influences, the track carries Nao'ymt's signature sense of Japanese lyricism, interwoven with Tsuyuzaki's quietly resolute vocals - capturing emotions that remain unspoken.
The song also continues the creative thread from "Lost In Avalon" (Nao'ymt feat. Harumi Tsuyuzaki), released in 2025.
Refined through years of experience, beyond both sweetness and bitterness, "Unsaid" emerges as a quiet yet powerful anthem - one that resonates beyond words.
A singer-songwriter from Kanagawa, Japan. Inspired by the 28th Grammy Awards at the age of eleven, Harumi decided to pursue her dreams as a musician and began refining her musical skills through percussion, drums, saxophone, vocals and piano. At sixteen, she encountered the gospel musical Mama, I Want to Sing! - an experience that profoundly shaped her artistic identity and led her to center her expression around the voice as a spiritual instrument. She made her major-label debut in 1995, and quickly became one of the pioneering voices of Japans emerging R&B scene. Her fourth album Believe Yourself debuted at No.10 on the National Charts, establishing her as a defining presence in the genre. In 2001, she launched a new phase of her career under the artist name Lyrico. Blending distinctive oriental elements with contemporary R&B, Lyricos original sound attracted a wide new audience and elevated her musical expression into a more lyrical and delicate realm, establishing her a unique position within the J-pop scene. She returned to her original artist name Harumi Tsuyuzaki in 2008, and has since released a wide range of works, including a cappella projects featuring multi-layered vocal recordings. To date, she has released 19 singles and 15 albums. In recent years, she has performed as a touring backing vocalist for SING LIKE TALKING, Tomoyasu Hotei, and Masayuki Suzuki, while also expanding her creative work through musical theater performances, songwriting, track production, and vocal arrangement.
