He started his career as an artist while still in college, inspired by artists such as Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson. His selection as a finalist in MTV's "MTV STAR TOUR" audition program in 2004 led to various activities mainly in Tokyo and Osaka. In 2011, he moved his base of activities to his hometown Okayama and changed his name to his current artist name (Lugz&Jera). In 2012, he released the popular EP series "LUGZ&JERA", "LUGZ&JERA.II", and "LUGZ&JERA.III" from his own label "LUGZ STAR RECORDS", which ranked first on iTunes, and also ranked high across the board on various sites, attracting attention. In addition to his own activities, he has produced "MUSIC TRIBE," which has grown to become one of the largest music festivals in Okayama Prefecture, and has been involved in a wide range of activities, including providing music to a variety of artists, both major and indie, fostering and discovering young talent, and charity activities in Asia (Thailand and the Philippines). In 2015, they released their first best album "LUGZ&JERA THE BEST", which includes their past works "LUGZ&JERA I/II/III" and 2 newly recorded songs, as a limited rental edition for TSUTAYA nationwide.
