Pianist/singer-songwriter Junko Takamisawa will begin distributing her piano and vocal album "Season" in March 2025.

"14 pieces for enjoying the fruits of time, written with piano and song"
This is an album of her playing and singing, depicting her own introspection along with nature (including four piano instrumentals).
The album was released independently on CD in November 2022, and has been well received both in Japan and abroad, including being sold in music select shops in Japan and Korea.

The recording took place at Junko Takamisawa's home in the suburbs of Tokyo, and the engineer was Naoto Shibuya, who has worked on albums by Ryuichi Sakamoto, Akiko Yano, and Taeko Onuki.
In addition, music selector Yuki Yamamoto (QuietCornar) also provided a comment at the time of the CD release.

<Comment from Naoto Shibuya>
"Junko Takamisawa's playing is wrapped in great gentleness.
It contains strength, flexibility, sadness, and severity."

<Comment from Yuki Yamamoto>
"There are times when listening to music, and a landscape or scenery naturally comes to mind.
I feel the same charm in Junko Takamisawa's music.
I am captivated by her delicate and lively performance, like the wind blowing, the light spilling, and the water splashing.
I also feel a nostalgic melancholy in the lyrical melodies woven by each sound.
I think it is a piece that beautifully depicts the changing seasons."

The cover art is "Autumn Harvest" by Felice [Lizzi] Rix-Ueno.
The 14 pieces are beautifully wrapped in delicate and pale colors.
