This is my second Vocaloid song, created with GUMI as the main voice.
I wanted to make a powerful EDM track with a strong statement.
At that time, I had just bought my first paid synthesizer,
and I was so excited that I ended up layering about ten synths and eight GUMIs in total.
The project became incredibly heavy, and I almost gave up several times.
Originally, I aimed for a rock-influenced EDM sound,
but it did not quite match the image in my mind.
After experimenting, I decided to increase the tempo from 128 BPM to 140 BPM,
and suddenly everything started to come together.
The energy and momentum finally aligned, and the song began to take shape.
I repeated the mixing and mastering process more than twenty times,
fine-tuning every element until it felt right.
Now I am truly proud of the final sound, especially the layers of synthesizers.
This song captures the moment of breaking free,
destroying the confined world and creating a new future.

Artist Profile

  • AYURIE

I began composing music on April 2, 2025. As a teenager, I dreamed of becoming a composer in middle school and wished to play guitar in high school, but neither came true at the time. After a long detour, I finally started creating music in my 40s, with no prior musical background. My goal is to release one instrumental track every week (on a separate account) and one Vocaloid song every month (or every other month). I am still at the very beginning of my journey, but I hope you will walk with me and watch it grow.
