    Based in Tokyo, Mashimo is a solo artist weaving warm yet bittersweet J-POP and lyrical pop melodies. Featuring the vocal of Vocaloid, Mashimo has been immersed in music since childhood, starting with the acoustic guitar, and began full-scale composing and arranging in 2025. Inspired by the desire to express the fleeting melancholy and hope of everyday life through music, Mashimos work is deeply influenced by the songs of Spitz. In 2025, Mashimo released the debut single Tonikaku Mae e via Tunecore. The song delicately portrays people carrying sadness and doubt while still moving forward, connecting each listeners yesterday and tomorrow through its music.
