この曲は「千の風になって」の作品等で著名な新井満氏が、第99回芥川賞を受賞した「尋ね人の時間」と同タイトルのアルバムに収められていた1曲です。(「尋ね人の時間」収録(2007年4月25日発売)

死者から生者へ送られる慰めのメロディと歌詞。「千風」と同視点で書かれた詩という意味では延長線上にあると言えますが、この曲はより対象を絞って最愛のパートナーに贈る最後の言葉を紡がれています。

貴方なら最愛のパートナーに向け、最後にどんな言葉を贈るだろうか。
この曲では、最後にその言葉が披露されます。

原曲は久石譲さんの編曲により壮大なスケールに仕上がっていますが、自分のアレンジは声とギターのみ。Less is more.最小限の編成で真正面から取り組ませて頂きました。

大切な人を失った貴方に。男性から女性、あるいはその反対でもそうでなくても構わない。
少しでもその悲しみを癒す時になれば幸いです。
新井氏本人によると、この曲はご自身の葬儀会場で流す曲として作られたとの事。
自分もそうする事が出来ればこれ以上嬉しい事はありません。

    I am based and carry out a musical activity in bossa nova around Tokyo, Yokohama. As Gakuenmae DUO, the activity with two is parallel at the same time, too. Plural production is releasing bossa nova "Hama Boosa" looking good on the town called Yokohama. This time is the first cover music with the fourth product eyes. A taste (samba Samba Canção)-like, as for this music, bossa nova finished "words to give it in waltz - last moments in the last" that Man Arai of the Akutagawa Prize writer added Japanese poetry to in "JEAN" of ROD MCKUEN/rod Machen who was American poet, singer-songwriter, composer. I want to have the people who lost an important person hear even a little as music of healing.
