On the eternal Silk Road lies Dunhuang, an ancient city half-buried in the sands.
Once a crossroads where Eastern and Western civilizations converged, countless dreams and prayers passed through this land - their breath still lingers across the centuries.
In the 11th century, during the Song dynasty and amidst the conflicts with the Western Xia, Yasushi Inoue's novel Dunhuang portrays a world of romance and sorrow. For me, it sparks a vivid imagination much like the landscapes a musician paints within the mind. Inspired by that vision, I sought to capture its essence in a rock instrumental, driven by the voice of a weeping guitar.
Beneath skies blurred by desert winds, under star-filled nights, where prayers and battles intertwine - the guitar sings, speaks, and resonates with each fleeting moment.
May the sound of "Dunhuang," born from my inner landscape, awaken new journeys within your heart.
I use a wide range of apps such as DAW, MIDI,vocaloid and beat machines, and also mix my own playing and the performances of my friends to create my music. The music I create is characterized by its emotive melody, mainly consisting of short pieces for background music.
