The first release from Japanese mixed-gender gospel chorus group, The BLISS, titled Psalm 5:12, was created with a theme inspired by a passage from the Old Testament, as its title suggests.
The song was composed and arranged by Hisashi Noto, known for his work on SMAP/ Fly, Crystal Kay/ Tears, and songs for Philosophy no Dance. Additionally, renowned Japanese gospel bassist Kenta Horiki joins as a guest musician.
Rooted in early 2000s neo-soul and infused with deep respect for classic R&B, this piece was meticulously crafted over time to ensure every detail is filled with grace.
A group formed with the desire to deliver -The BLISS = Supreme Joy- anywhere through gospel singing. The members have long histories in music and gospel, and their harmonies are filled with passion. By uniting and shining through their individual talents, they hope to share this joy with as many hearts as possible.
